If you do the town quests, and why not, IвЂ™d pick a town I like enough that I might conquer for myself later in the game.

But every time you see them fighting bandits, jump in and help so they get to know you.

I usually try to talk to all the Amazon lords first and then the others as I meet them.You wonвЂ™t really have time to help them all because there are so many. YouвЂ™ll need friends and allies later on, so talk to as many as you can at least once.

Meanwhile, while youвЂ™re doing this, running between these places, making money, getting experience fighting, talk to Lords you meet and do things for them.

I did the bow quest about level 10 I think. This will help you get recruits fast, and a good bow when you feel your archery skill is good enough to try for it. Watch the prices in these 4 or 5 places and their close villages and youвЂ™ll be making good money, and on the way between them getting into battles with bandits and such for loot and experience.If there are certain types of troops (I like the Amazon mounted warriors, so thatвЂ™s where I go) you really like, go to a village that has recruits for them and do quests for that village. You can also go to Cyme, buy spice there and sell it at the Valkyrie womensвЂ™ town on the coast, along with velvet if you find some cheap. Go right back to the places you bought the oil and sell your furs and buy more oil. Check the villages around there for cheap furs too. Sell them at Lutetia, the green Orlon city.

YouвЂ™re going to need money, so do a bit of trading.Buy oil in Odacer and Millard.

This would be one reason why you would not be a partner lord as you say or aligned with any particular faction, because a war might break out between the faction youвЂ™re helping and the one your spouse is in, making them unreachable in their city. So youвЂ™re going to have a bit of time tied up doing just that quest. That one takes a while because you have to do a few tasks for her or him and then fight 10-12 challengers, each one a day or more apart.

The first things I do are find companions and then work on the personal marriage quest.
